I didn't realize until now just how badly I have mishandled our relationship and my love for you. By us being apart and not talking to each other for so long, I learned very quickly that you were everything that I had ever wanted and by being so afraid of losing you, I actually ended up chasing you away from me. I've realized that instead of complaining about the time I didn't have with you, I should've cherished the time I did have, because it was so real and filled with love and affection. It wasn't until now that I've began to realize how special it was just to hear your voice. Darling, I could go on and on but I think you know what I'm saying. Yes, it's the little things I miss the most. The little things that I was so careless to take for granted. The promise I made to you is a promise that I will keep forever no matter what happens. You will always hold a special place in my heart. So, here's the reason I had to tell you these things; if that man in your dreams has a name and a face, that even vaguely resembles mine, tell him....continued on bottom of the page.

...to be patient, so he doesn't make another life altering mistake like I did, in losing you. You can be assured that he will take the proper time for you to be ready to accept it, however long that may take. Before I close this letter, I want to sincerely say one last thing straight from my heart ... I'm so sorry I tried to force you to do things my way, and I realize now what I miss the very most is being with you! From the bottom of my heart, I dearly love you.
